| Discussion: Laurie Colwin Laurie Colwin is my very favorite writer. She continues to inspire me year after year, especially in my kitchen. I'm looking for suggestions from other fans as to who else might be nice to read. I'm always looking for new authors to try. Some of my other favorites are Alice Hoffman, Barbara Kingsolver, Susan Vreeland, Elizabeth Gilbert, Laura Zigman, Pema Chodron, Michael Chabon, Pam Houston and Amy Bloom.
