Discussion: Irving Stone

Irving Stone is my all time favorite author. I am trying to find either first editions of his books or signed copies.
Also, I would love to find another author who compares to Stone, that does the biographical research that he did, and writes in a similar manner. Any ideas? Thanks, Pat Close

Hello,
I am from India and am a big fan of Irving Stone. No, I have not found any other author who can match him. But Emil Ludwig, the biographer of Napoleon, is somewhat similar, because he uses the technique of the novel in his biographies. Can you direct me to any site which details Stone's work by date-a bibliography?

Regards
